Finally, we thought that the braided material was beautiful but not as comfortable as some other woven fabrics. Because the braided material was more subject to stretching, even given the spreader bars, this hammock sagged a little more, and provided a middle ground in terms of “cocoon” effect between woven fabric and spreaderless bars.
Finally, because this hammock did not come with a included stand, installation required more forethought. If you have a pair of trees wide enough apart to install hooks to, you will have no issues but if you don’t, purchasing a stand large enough to support the 13’ overall length will be necessary.

We decided to include this hammock on our list due to its uniqueness. It borders the line between hammock and chaise lounge. We loved the incorporated sunshade and found that it was a necessity when hanging out by the pool on a hot day. Because the Abba Patio’s hammock features a robust frame that attaches at all four corners, we found that the tippyness associated with traditional hammocks was nearly eliminated but yet the comfort found in hammocks with spreader bars was mirrored.
This hammock was built from incredibly durable materials such as a steel frame and synthetic bed fabric. We found that this was a necessity because, once set up, this hammock was incredibly difficult to move around and did not store well indoors.
